Setup ftp folder with Windows Vista for easy access

Ok if you have Vista its very easy to view the ftp like a regular folder on your computer.

Just go to my computer, and up at the top right on the blue bar click Map network drive

It should open up a window, at the bottom there is a blue bar that says:

"Connect to a We site that you can use the store your documents and pictures."

Click that, then choose next, and next for "Choose a custom network location."

Copy and Paste:

ftp://er3d.com/

Into the line and choose NOT to Log on anonymously.

For user name type: Crysisteam@er3d.com

Then you can choose a name for the location, this can be whatever I've named mine "Sandbox 2 Project"

Then click Next and Finish

It should pop up with a FTP folder Error stating that "Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder. Details: The server name or address could not be resolved." THIS IS OK so click "OK"

Then right click on the blankness white background and choose: " Login As..."

The user name should be entered for you as "Crysisteam" but make it say "crysisteam@er3d.com"

Type in the password "sandbox" and hit "Save password" then "Log On"

From there it should appear in My Computer and you can make a shortcut to your Desktop.

That should do it. if you have any problems call me, you should have my number.

and error I had was it typing in the address bar " ftp://er3d.com%40er3d.com/ " rather than " ftp://er3d.com/" just replace and re-login and it should work.
